Howdy, and welcome to our site. So….what is Stella Photography all about then…?

Well apart from the obvious (hint: Photography) we’re about people, connecting, experience….. I guess you could say we love the process. From meeting a client, all the way through till the client see the finished product.

Photography isn’t about pointing a camera at a subject and shooting, there’s a lot more involved, and I’ve always (personally) found that to be a good photographer you need to LOVE what you do, and if you do it shows. Connecting with people is a HUGE part of photography…. (unless you’re into Landscapes )

I also approach photography with enthusiasm and energy, and I often run around or end up shooting on my back or some elevated object to get a shot…. (Or another way of putting is that my style is not “rigid”)

So if you’re looking for modern photography that is a mixture of natural looking shots, candid moments, fun and creativity and a few traditional shots then Stella is for. If you’re looking what I describe as “overly technical” – making sure every groomsmen’s tie is straight and everyone is standing perfectly, then Stella is not for you!

About “Me” (Robert)

I worked on cruise ships as a “Cruise ship Photographer” (not as glamourous I thought it was going to be like, but I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything) this was my introduction to photography…. it was mainly very repetitive, and “in your face” but it taught me the foundations of photography……this was back in the film days (1994) A lot of happened since then, people have come and gone, I’ve gotten married, had kids, lived in different countries, seen some amazing things….some other things:
